The incoming Chair of the Munich Security Conference, Jens Stoltenberg, has been asked to serve as Norway’s Minister of Finance. He will return to his pro-bono position at the helm of the MSC once he leaves public office. Until his return later this year, MSC Vice-Chairs Benedikt Franke and Rainer Rudolph will lead the organization from February 16. Wolfgang Ischinger, President of the MSC Foundation Council: “We are proud that our incoming Chair has just been asked to serve his country again.” The entire organization looks forward to working with Jens Stoltenberg once his interim public office term has come to an end.
