NITI Aayog organised the 19th NITI In-house lecture series on 'World Energy Outlook and Scenarios' in Rang Bhawan Auditorium, All India Radio, New Delhi today. Mr. Tim Gould, Chief Energy Economist, IEA joined as the speaker for the session. IEA’s World Energy Outlook, published annually, provides detailed information on global sources of energy and projections. It identifies and explores trends in energy demand and supply, as well as implications for energy security, emissions, and economic development. The seminar featured valuable insights from the latest World Energy Outlook. It also focused on the implications of these scenarios for India's energy policies and strategies. The session also imparted the role of India in shaping global energy markets and contributing to international climate goals.
