Driving India's Higher Education Headway!! NITI Aayog's report, "Expanding Quality Higher Education through States & State Public Universities (SPUs)", marks a big step in the direction to enhance India's prowess in the Education Sector. The report offers a quantitative analysis of the performance of States and SPUs on vital indicators along with a detailed policy Roadmap, including nearly 80 Policy recommendations. As per the report, Tamil Nadu secured the 1st rank in Gross Enrolment Ratio across states by scoring 47 in 2021-22, followed by Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kerala, and Telangana.
