Do you agree? Food in Indian railways is definitely more charming than our airlines. Yes, I know that few things are stuck in the past like that super sugary jam or that Brown bread! But apart from that their service is excellent - they offer you tea multiple times and that bachpan wala Railway cutlet is still the same and the thick cut ghar style aloo fries and matar as a side hits the spot. Even the Omelette was simple and perfectly cooked! Maybe the nostalgia got the better out of me because I take 90 flights per year and maybe one train ride. I think, I'm going to try and change that a little as I had a great time watching the sunrise from my Shatabdi and I'm looking forward to a Vande Bharat ride :)
