*SECURITY GUARD* Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST) Job Details - _Location:_ Marondera, Zimbabwe - _Closing Date:_ 25 February 2025 - _Job Type:_ Full Time Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST). Key Responsibilities - Ensure the security of equipment and materials at construction sites - Perform static guard and gate control duties - Conduct security patrols to ensure security of persons, equipment, and buildings - Inspect buildings, access points, and check doors, windows, and gates - Attend to crime scenes, compile reports, and testify in disciplinary hearings and/or in criminal courts of law - Liaise with the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Services in cases of emergency - Ensure the security and safety of students, staff, and property Qualifications and Experience - At least 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language at Grade C or better - A Security Training Certificate from a recognised security organisation - At least three years’ experience in the security service - A basic appreciation of criminal laws of Zimbabwe - Applicants should have no criminal record Conditions of Service - Information on salary and other benefits will be made available to shortlisted candidates.
