Trusting their deception, the victim paid "tax money"—only to realize it was all a sham. Swift action by CCB led to the arrest of five key players from Basaveshwar Nagar, Hubli, and beyond, with crucial evidence seized: 2 counterfeit RBI files, ₹1 lakh cash, 2 cars, and 5 mobile phones.
