🚨 _*#highlights*_ During the third session of NetMission Academy 2025, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘃 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗶 (𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲) was joined by 𝗘𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗺 (𝗨𝗡 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻) and 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝘀𝗼𝗶 (𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮) for a discussion “𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘙𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦,” focussing on the intersection of human rights and technology, held on January 23, 2025. Pranav shared critical insights on the importance of freedom of expression, privacy, and access to information, with a focus on the role of end-to-end encryption as a key safeguard for journalists in the digital age. The session generated meaningful conversations on how technology impacts human rights, with the fellows contributing thought-provoking ideas on tackling the ethical challenges posed by AI and digital rights.
