RFQ (Request for Quotation) Management: Receive RFQs from the client for new projects. Analyze RFQ requirements and provide 2D/3D mold drawings to obtain cost details. 2). Design Feasibility & Approval: After receiving the advance drawing, coordinate with suppliers to obtain Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reports. Share the DFM with the client’s design team and obtain feedback and approvals. Ensure feedback is communicated to suppliers and DFM is updated accordingly. 3). Costing & Negotiation: Finalize costing based on approved DFM and negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs. Obtain management approval for final costing. 4). Procurement & Planning: Release purchase orders to suppliers and secure detailed procurement timelines. Monitor mold-making processes and ensure adherence to the agreed timeline. 5). Trial & Quality Assurance: Plan and conduct mold trials to validate the production process. Ensure procurement of trial parts and coordinate with event teams. Address dimensional accuracy, process fine-tuning, and mold-related issues for successful validation. 6). Supplier Development & Management: Develop new suppliers and negotiate cost terms. Enhance existing supplier capabilities and address mold-related issues with action plans and countermeasures. 7). Project Launch: Ensure smooth project launch at both supplier and client locations. Provide ongoing support to suppliers for continuous improvements. 8). Mold Management: Monitor mold life and ensure proactive maintenance. Conduct mold health checks and implement preventive measures. Control dispatch failures by addressing mold-related issues effectively. 9). Cost Management: Finalize part costs with suppliers and achieve cost savings through VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives.
