The GB-C Students Support Network (GBC SSN) stands in solidarity with student rights activist Raja Abid from Diamer, who has been tirelessly advocating for the rights of students and improving the education system in Gilgit-Baltistan. We commend Raja Abid's unwavering commitment to ensuring access to quality education for students in the region, particularly in underprivileged and remote areas of Diamer. His determination to continue his struggle for better educational opportunities is truly inspiring. As a network of students, we understand the challenges faced by students in Gilgit-Baltistan, including inadequate infrastructure, limited resources, and lack of access to quality education. We believe that every student deserves equal opportunities to succeed, regardless of their geographical location or socio-economic background. Therefore, we fully support Raja Abid's demands for improving the quality of education in Gilgit-Baltistan. We urge the authorities to take immediate action to address the following issues: Improving infrastructure and facilities in schools Increasing access to quality education, particularly in remote and underprivileged areas Providing adequate resources and support to students and teachers Ensuring transparency and accountability in the education system We request the authorities to engage in a constructive dialogue with Raja Abid and other student rights activists to find solutions to these pressing issues. It is only through collective efforts that we can create a better future for the students of Gilgit-Baltistan. Once again, we express our full support to Raja Abid and his demands.
