📌 Greetings from NIT-Warangal.
The Department of Physics, NIT Warangal is organizing a Five Days Online International Workshop on Nanostructured Optoelectronic Materials for Future Technologies (NOMFT-2025) during 4th – 8th March, 2025 under Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, for the benefit of the faculty members and research scholars in both Science and Engineering institutions who teach and work in the related areas of optoelectronic/photonic materials and devices.
Prof. Yogendra Kumar Mishra, Univ. of Southern Denmark & Prof. Sebastian Lourdudoss, KTH-Royal Inst. of Tech., Sweden are the key resource persons for the workshop.
Objectives of the online workshop:
Ø To provide a comprehensive overview of nanostructured optoelectronic materials and their properties in the context of materials and devices for optoelectronic and photonic technologies.
Ø To elucidate the chemical synthesis, assembly methods, and surface functionalization of nanostructured optoelectronic and photonic materials.
Ø Discuss characterization tools and techniques to analyze the structural, morphological, optical, and electronic properties of nanostructured materials.
Ø Introduce theoretical models and simulation approaches for understanding the behavior of nanostructured materials aiding the design and optimization of devices.
Ø To discuss the relevance of utilizing nanostructured materials in optoelectronic devices, such as sensors, LCDs, photo-catalysis and photodetectors.
Topics to be covered in the Workshop:
Online Lectures / Limited Online Demonstration
Ø Advancements in the field of nanostructured materials for optoelectronic technology
