Acting swiftly on secret information, 2 operatives (Robinjeet Singh & Harpreet Singh @ Happy) of #usa-based Gurdev Singh @ Jaisal Chambhal & #canada-based terrorist Lakhbir @ Landa and Satnam Singh @ Satta Naushehra Gang apprehended after brief exchange of fire, and recovered 2 grenades and 1 pistol along with live cartridges. When police team tried to apprehend them they attacked police team and tried to flee from the spot, in-response the police acted in self-defense, during which both accused sustained injuries. They have been admitted to the Civil Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. An FIR has been registered by Tarn Taran Police. Further investigations are ongoing to establish backward and forward linkages.
