03.02.2025 A review meeting was Chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Changlang at DC's Conference Hall in regards to the Arunachal-Assam Boundary dispute along with all the stakeholders and the Dept. of Land Management, Changlang. Sri N. Changmi, President, TC&LPF highlighted about the issue and gave the present status of the petition filed by them in the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Various issues pertaining to the case like intrusion by Assam forest officials, destruction of crops other plantations etc were also raised during the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner, Changlang also placed his suggestion to conduct joint survey along with the local admin officer, police personnel, forest officials and the affected villagers. It was decided to take up the matter with the Assam counterpart as well and convene next meeting in later part of February'2025. The representative from all changlang border students union were also present.
