Today in Mumbai, as part of the study visit by the Parliamentary Committee on Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, we held a discussion on ‘Ethanol and Biofuel Production from sugar, sugarcane, and grains: Prospects and Challenges’ with representatives from the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
