Six Months of Injustice—The Fight for Justice Continues For six months, justice has been delayed, but our resolve remains unwavering. People from all walks of life have come together as the Abhaya family, united in our demand for accountability and truth. February 9 marks both Abhaya’s birthday and six months since the tragic incident on August 9. In her memory, the West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Front will organize ‘Abhaya Clinic’, a free health camp, at Sodpur Mahendranagar Unnayan Samiti field from 10 AM to 1 PM. All are welcome to participate. Later that day, at 4 PM, we call upon everyone to assemble at R G KAR premises, near “Cry of the Hour,” to protest the prolonged delay in justice. This gathering transcends political differences—it is a collective stand for what is right. To honor Abhaya’s love for flowers, we encourage everyone to plant a flower tree in her memory—at home, in institutions, or in workplaces—as a pledge to continue this fight.
