*UPDATE ON CLOSURE OF APPEAL FOR LINDA KUSI’S FAMILY* Dear Colleagues, On behalf of GAMLS, MELPWU, SMLM-G and GWW, I wish to extend heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to the voluntary appeal in support of the family of our late colleague, Linda Kusi, who tragically died in a devastating fire incident at Gyinyase in the Ashanti Region with her three children. The overwhelming support demonstrates our unity and compassion as a profession. As of the close of the appeal, *a total of 173 members contributed, raising an amount of GHS 14,324.90.* The total disbursement was as follows: * GHS 3,000 – Given to support the funeral. * GHS 5,000 – Presented to the husband * GHS 6,000 – Presented to the mother This amounted to a total donation of GHS 14,000.00. Attached are photos of the husband and mother of Linda Kusi who were in the GAMLS-Ashanti Regional office to receive the donations. Additionally, the following charges were incurred: * E-Levy Tax: GHS 29.10 * MoMo Withdrawal Charges: GHS 60.00 * Total Expenses & Donations: GHS 14,089.10 After all deductions, the remaining balance stands at GHS 235.80. This is credited to the accounts of GAMLS-Ashanti. With this, we officially close the voluntary contributions for Linda Kusi’s family.
