YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital, officially launched the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability (MCfS) Pilot, the first of its kind in Asia, marking a significant milestone in ESG Public-Private Partnerships. This initiative aims to accelerate sustainability adoption in Malaysia’s manufacturing sector by harnessing advanced digital solutions. The pilot, a collaborative effort between Microsoft Malaysia, Glocomp Systems, the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and MDEC, sets a precedent for leveraging digital technology to drive measurable sustainability impact. As part of the launch, MDEC’s Head of Digital Industry Acceleration, Ir. Wan Murdani Wan Mohamad, led a panel discussion on the growing importance of digital sustainability.
