MDEC, working alongside the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL), recently organised the 1st NESR E-Commerce Industry Roundtable with the theme "E-Invoicing for Business Digitalisation and Tax Compliance" to enhance the understanding of E-commerce Platform Players, focusing on E-Invoicing for tax compliance and Peppol E-Invoicing for business digitalisation. The roundtable began with opening remarks from Datuk Ts. Fadzli Abdul Wahit, Head of Transformation at MDEC, setting the stage for discussions. The session facilitated dynamic discussions, bringing together participants from leading e-commerce platforms including Agrobazaar, Alibaba, Cartsini, Grab, HYT, Lazada, Carousell, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Zalora, to exchange insights on e-Invoicing implementation.
