Dear Parents, Mothers, How do you choose school for your children? Is it as long as you can afford the school fees nothing else matters? Do you take into consideration if you can meet up with other basic necessities of the school ( like when they have activities, your children dressing), their school accessories ( food, lunchbox, water bottle and all ? Have you taken into consideration how your children feels when they aren't properly dressed as their peers ?? A little story..... 3 years ago I was pregnant and working in a school at Lekki headed by a white lady. I was so much in love with this school, care and attention was top-notch but I couldn't afford it even with the discount as a staff. When I see cars dropping children, their school accessories, food, clothing and party pack, I knew my baby wouldn't have a space in that school. I won't jeopardize her feelings because I like the school. My other colleague brought her toddler to the creche, Omo he was pale in comparison to others. When pictures are taken during activities, sometimes the baby's picture has to be cropped as he wasn't properly dressed. It got to a point they had to use school clothes for him at times..... Why take a child through that stress ?? Dear parents, please put your child or children in school you can afford not just the school fees. Do your children and your self a favor. I wouldn't put my children in a big school while they look and feel like out of place / begger among their peers.
