Your diet is not only what you eat. It is what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, the people you hang out with and the things you subject your mind and soul to. Always be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Doing a 36 hour fast once or twice per week is a form of intermittent fasting that is very beneficial to the body. What you do: Skip dinner one day and fast the entire next day. Drink nothing but water and herbal tea (with nothing added). After the 36 hours have passed, break your fast with fresh fruit. Fresh fruit is one of the best things to break ANY fast with because fruit is the easiest thing to digest, making it a great way to wake up the digestive system and also remove any residual mucus, toxins, etc.
