Sensex fall by 29.47 points or 0.04 percent to 75,967.39 5. Nifty 50 lower by 14.20 points or 0.06 percent at 22,945.30, on February 18 6. Midcap index ended down 0.2 percent, rising sharply from early lows, and smallcap index ended 1.7 percent lower 7. Among sectors, Pharma, FMCG, Media, PSU Bank, Consumer Durables fell between 0.5-1 percent 8. while IT, Power, Oil & Gas index up 0.5% each 9. After remaining net sellers for the last 9 sessions 10. The Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought equities worth Rs 4,786 crore on February 18 11. DIIs extended the buying on 10th session, as they bought equities worth Rs 3,072 crore, on the same day 12. The three major stock indexes wobbled between red and green for much of the session 13. But all three managed to flip green in the closing minutes 14. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 10.26 points, or 0.02% 15. S&P 500 gained 14.95 points, or 0.24% 16. Nasdaq Composite gained 14.49 points, or 0.07% 17. US 10-year yield sustains around 4.53 18. Dollar index sustains around 107 19. Trump said that auto tariffs could be 25%, pharmaceutical tariffs 25%+ 20. US & Russian officials met in Saudi Arabia where they discussed a #russiaukrainewar peace deal 21. Brent Oil +0.7% to $75.75 22. Asian markets were set slightly lower opening 23. Nikkei down 0.4% and Hangseng down 0.2% 24. GiftNifty indicates a flat opening for the index 25. Nifty is facing a intraday resistance 22980 and 23030 26. If stays above 23030 will try to move 23100 27. On other side, Nifty considering a supports 22900 and 22860 28.
