Salted Caramel Cheesecake Brownie Bars

Ingredients: 150 grams of all-purpose flour, 200 grams of unsalted butter, 200 grams of dark chocolate, 200 grams of sugar, 3 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 300 grams of cream cheese, 100 grams of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, a pinch of salt, 150 grams of soft caramels, 3 tablespoons of heavy cream, and a pinch of sea salt for topping.

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Melt butter and dark chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
3. Stir in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix well.
4. Fold in flour and salt until just combined, then pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
5. For the cheesecake layer, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and one egg until smooth. Spread evenly over the brownie layer.
6. Melt caramels with heavy cream in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour over the cheesecake layer and gently swirl with a knife.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the cheesecake has mostly set.
8. Cool completely before slicing into bars. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
