The Financial Conduct Authority has found the vast majority of financial advisers are delivering suitability reviews in its investigation into ongoing advice.
It said in the 83 per cent of cases it had looked at suitability reviews were delivered, and in a further 15 per cent of cases clients either declined or did not respond to a firm’s offer of a review.
However, there were 2 per cent of cases where no effort had been made to contact the client.
