Newly Appointed Executive Members of 11th CADC Assume Office Kamalanagar, the 27th February, 2025: Seven newly appointed Executive Members of the 11th Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC) were sworn in today at a ceremony in Kamalanagar. Pu H. Zonunmawia, MCS, Project Director, DRDO, Lawngtlai, administered the oath of office and secrecy. The newly sworn-in Executive Members are: 1. Shri Kalasoga Chakma (13-Vaseitlang) 2. Shri Supan Chakma (12-Mainabapsora) 3. Shri Montu Chakma (19-Devasora S) 4. Shri Amit Bayan Chakma (10-Mondirasora) 5. Shri Ananta Bikash Chakma (14-Longpuighat) 6. Shri Sanjib Chakma (2-Borapansury-II) 7. Shri Sanjeev Chakma (7-Kamalanagar W) Chief Executive Member, Shri Molin Kumar Chakma, expressed confidence in his team, stating, “With their support, we will work with dedication to accelerate the development of CADC.” He reaffirmed the government's commitment to "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas" for inclusive progress. The new Executive Committee, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was formed following the passage of a no-confidence motion against the previous CEM, Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma, during the Winter Session on 11th December 2024, leading to the dissolution of the former Executive Committee. Subsequently, the Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram appointed Dg. Molin Kumar Chakma as the new Chief Executive Member on 28th January 2025. With today’s swearing-in, the Executive Committee stands fully constituted.
