Acting swiftly on forward-backward linkages in a follow-up action, Counter Intelligence, Amritsar made a significant breakthrough by recovering an additional 3 Kg Heroin from Lovepreet Singh. This additional 3 Kg Heroin recovery is done on the basis of the disclosure statement of the accused Harmandeep Singh from aforesaid Lovepreet Singh at Bus Stand Khasa, Amritsar-Attari GT Road, Amritsar. Lovepreet Singh has been arrested and named as an accused in the FIR. During the initial operation initiated on dated 18.02.2025 on the basis of secret information, 10 Kg Heroin were recovered from accused Harmandeep Singh. With the recent recovery, the total quantity of heroin seized in connection with this case has now reached 13 Kgs.
