*Assistive Devices Distributed to 70 Beneficiaries on Statehood Day* : On the occasion of Statehood Day, over 70 differently-abled individuals (Divyangjan) in Miao received assistive devices, including hearing aids and wheelchairs. The distribution followed an assessment by ALIMCO, a Government of India PSU specializing in assistive devices, conducted during the Mega Health Camp at Miao CHC. The event, held at the ADC Miao office, was led by Hon’ble ZPM Miao, Shri Asamto Tikhak, in the presence of ADC Miao, Shri R.D. Thungon. The initiative was executed under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Changlang, with coordination by the ICDS Department, led by the Deputy Director, and the Medical Department, under the DMO and MoIC, CHC Miao. The District Administration also arranged transportation for beneficiaries. Plans are in place to extend the initiative to other subdivisions in the coming months.
