Facing unemployment, he joined his parents on a communal farm, where he started growing green chilies and later expanded to supplying well-established businesses. In 2023, he participated in a year-long agricultural program with Siyazisiza Trust in KZN, gaining valuable expertise. Teaming up with a fellow graduate facing similar employment challenges, they pursued independence and secured their own leased land. Their farm focuses on crop production, mainly butternut and cabbage, supplying school feeding schemes.
