15 February 2025 Ndera FM News Latest Development on Harare-Masvingo Highway Bus Accident: Three dead, 30 Injured Story by Christine Chiromo This is an update to the earlier report on the bus accident along Harare-Masvingo Highway. Authorities have now confirmed that 3people died, whilst 30 others were injured in the collision between a Mandaza Bus and a Glen View High 2 School bus at the 40km peg. Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Honourable Felix Mhona, who visited the accident scene, confirmed the fatalities. He stated that the injured have been transferred to Chitungwiza and Harare hospitals for further treatment. The Mandaza Bus, which was traveling from Chipinge, had 38 passengers on board at the time of the crash. The school bus, carrying three people, was en route to Masvingo to collect church members who had hired it. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. More updates to follow.
