The celebrations, which started today, include a clean-up campaign, the launch of the national youth digital skills program, and a youth empowerment strategy consultative meeting. Tomorrow's main event will feature youth service displays, music and dances. The National Youth Day is celebrated annually on February 21 to commemorate the birthday of the late former President Robert Mugabe. This day aims to recognize the contributions of young people to the country's development and encourage them to adopt good leadership values.
