Reverend Father Ignatius Anipu, a Ghanaian priest, has been appointed as the new bishop of Niger's Maradi Diocese. He succeeds Bishop Ambroise Ouédraogo ¹. Before his appointment, Fr. Anipu served as the delegate of the Provincial of Western Africa and director of the Institut de Formation Islamo-Chrétienne in Bamako, Mali. His rich experience also includes being a parish vicar, parish priest, provincial counselor, and lecturer in missiology and Islamology ¹.
