Greetings Concerned youth. Brief Report from our Visit yesterday. 16/02/25 The youth went to the bereaved Family as scheduled to sympathize with them and also to inquire what has been done and the next line of action. Upon arrival, we met the wife of our late brother, “Chukuma” and his Elder brother alongside others who came to show concern as well. After much deliberations, we had these resolves; ✅He, the Elder brother have given his statement to the police and they (The Police) are cooperating. ✅The Officer in question has been arrested and locked in cell. ✅The Commissioner of police is yet to be notified as He’s not on seat at the mean time. ✅The Local Government Chairman has met part of his promises through the honorable councilor of Omagwa. ✅The family is making arrangements to see to it that their beloved son is laid to rest in a short period of time. ✅The Family have also assured us that their demands of taking full responsibility of the burial, the wife’s up-keep and the children’s education is being taking care of by the police and government at large as it is in process already. Conclusion, we were asked to stay put for the mean time as other informations regarding the course of our visit will reach us as soon as possible.
