✍️. *1. What would you say to any person who wants to launch a personal development program?*
I would tell them you start by paying attention to their own bodies -: to their exercise, fitness, food habits and patterns - because my experience suggest that the base of all discipline, improvement and progression is the body.
Freud made the comment that - biology is destiny. That comment translate in number of ways, but he once said that we are all limited by the body and that our capacity for transformation is based in the body. He believed that the limitations of our bodies are not negatives, but we always have to pay homage to our body.
✍️. *2. What research have you done to support your belief in the importance of overall body fitness?*
My early research determined the difference between peak performers and workaholics. I found that the peak performers have better than average health and relationships on the job,and also at home while the workaholics fair poorer in both these aspects.
I found that the peak performers had some systematic form of physical exercise, creation and relaxation that was integrated into their lives on a regular basis and not something reserved early for the vacation period. When you maintain health, and your body is functioning at a high level its inextricably linked to your success elsewhere - emotionally, spiritually, and productively.
