Think about that. And where you will be tomorrow? It’s being shaped by the prayers you choose to pray today—or the ones you neglect to pray. Many of us find ourselves in situations we don’t understand—battling delays, disappointments, and doors that refuse to open. But could it be that some of these struggles exist because of prayers left unprayed? Have we allowed distractions, frustrations, or even our own sins to hinder us from pressing into the presence of God? The Bible makes it clear: “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:8-9) There are many ways we fall short—through arrogance, ingratitude, complaining, unforgiveness, and even withholding what belongs to God.
