Word of the day 📖 Today we’ll focus on the essence of time *Ecclesiastes 11:6* “Sow your seed in the morning,
    and at evening let your hands not be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed,
    whether this or that,
    or whether both will do equally well.” In the above scripture we get to read about the importance of sowing seed. When it comes to our trade and what we do for a living, we tend to experience seasons. So this scripture relates to a farming metaphor on how to make wise decisions relating to investing. Just like a farmer can’t predict weather. It’s wise to sow in the morning and in the evening. God knows which one will be a success. The important part is to know that God is of excellence, in all endeavours we need to embody Jesus and be excellent in all our ways. So the key issue here is the scripture warns us that *“at evening let your hands not be idle”* the power of excellency is within you,God has given it to all of us therefore Solomon warns us to be great stewards of time, to not waste it but continuously sow at all available times. When it comes to being stewards over what God has given us, it’s importance to never focus on the physical. Just like work, maybe knocking off at 17:00 or even after school and past that - many of us think it’s “me time”. Farmers tend to work in daylight which makes it one of their greatest resources, Solomon advises the farmer to use it all, from sun rise to sun set. Invest your time in your trade, hobbies, in school, in corporate and not only focus on one stream. The bible tells us only God knows which will succeed or even both may succeed because we don’t know when disaster may hit like a farmer, they can’t predict or control the weather So God tells us the importance of capitalising in different ventures . Ecclesiastes 11:2 “Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight;
    you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.” We all have the same time frame in a day, week or month so today let us meditate on how we spend our time. Ephesians 5:15-16 “15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity (time) , because the days are evil.” Are you a great steward of time? Or do you spend majority of your time scrolling on social media? *Prayer*: “Dear Heavenly father, I thank you for your mercies and your grace. Thank you for a new day and thank you for life. God I pray that you may bless the works of my hands, may you also bless every opportunity & encounter ahead of me. God open my eyes to see opportunities and gaps in industries that may be need of my skill set, May I fill them. Teach me God on how to maximise the day and make me a great steward of time. In Jesus’s mighty name. Amen” Have a blessed day ahead
