Word of God for today 📖 Isaiah 1:19-20 “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Today we get to understand the importance of having child like dependency on Christ. In the the spiritual realm, there is no in between you’re either for God (kingdom of light) or not (kingdom of darkness) so God extends an invitation to us *“if you’re are willing and obedient”* which then shows us that willingness goes hand in hand with obedience. You can’t be willing and be disobedient. The other thing this text highlights is that God doesn’t force his will upon us but grants you the opportunity or free will to choose, and an understanding of what the choice comes with. Like Peter, some of us tend to ask God the same question Peter asked in the book of a *Mathew 19: 27 - Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”* More like we’ve sacrificed a lot to be here, is this worth it? Is journeying with Christ worth it when you’re seeing your age mates going to the latest big events having fun the worldly way and going against many people labelling you as boring and having to deal with the critics because of you’ve made your choice to stick by Christ, is this Journey of me dying to self each day to follow Christ worth it?? Peter *then asked what then will there be for us? * God provides us with the answer in Isaiah “ you will eat the good things of the Land” we know that obedience is rewarded by God, so you might ask -what are the good things? God isn’t specific about what the good things will be, because he knows that it creates a limitation of who he is and what God can do (tempering with our faith) which takes us back to Exodus when Moses asked who will I say sent me? he said “I AM” With this key understanding, it’s important to understand that willingness and obedience goes hand in hand with Child like dependency. You can’t be obedient if you’re not dependent on him, because what are you dependent on God for? So In closing, God gives an in-depth understanding in Isaiah 2:22 “Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem?” Many people tend to put their trust in other people, especially well established people. If they can be connected to those people they’d be far in life forgetting that it’s the favour and presence of God that progresses us. God asks us why your trust is in people who has the same Godly attribute (breathe) as you? Now God warns us about trusting people who are like us because they can’t grant you eternal life nor anything extraordinary or far beyond what God can give you

Goodmorning Disciples of Jesus Christ Here is our today's Devotion WHO'S SON IS THE CHRIST? Matthew 22:41-46 -This Scripture teaches us and those who question Christ. Who do we think Jesus is? -Jesus questions the Pharisees as they were together, "What do you think about Christ? Whose son is he? "The son of David," they replied. He said to them , "How is it then that David, speaking by the spirit, calls him 'Lord' for he says, 'The LORD said to my LORD: "Sit at my right hand until i put your enemies." -If then David calls him 'LORD', how can he be his son?" No one could say a word in reply , and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. -This tells us Jesus Christ is GOD in flesh he is one with GOD in heaven. We must believe that Jesus is one with GOD. He became flesh to reconcile for our Relationship with GOD through the cross. -Jesus is our LORD and SAVIOUR. When he questioned the Pharisees he was actually answering them in spirit to let them know that he is GOD because Jesus is questioned all over the place from his birth until his death and resurrection. -We now know why Jesus Christ came to earth and his finished work of the cross is unquestionable because no human can do what Jesus did on the cross. -Jesus is GOD one with the father in heaven and the holly spirit that is with us. Amen Thank you guys have a blessed day today and GOD bless you We love you and GOD loves you best.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Good morning Disciples What a wonderful to day today, here is our today's Devotion THE PARABLE OF THE TWO SONS Matthew 21:28-32 -What a word! My GOD! I was shocked by this one but bless the reading of the his word our LORD. -" What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said 'Son go and work today in the vineyard.' " 'I will not' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. "Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will ,sir, but he did not go. "Which one of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered. -Jesus said to them ,"I tell you the truth ,the tax collectors and the prostitudes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him ,but the tax collectors and the prostitudes did. And even after you saw this ,you did not repent and believe him. -Now this leaves us with a lot of questions. Why most times the one's who know the truth are the most one's to disregard the truth. Are believers saved because we think we deserve the Grace of GOD or are we saved because we thing we are better than those who struggle with sin? -I remember when Jesus told the Pharisees that he is not here for those who see their selves holly but he is here for sinners. We often despise those who are in sin thinking them in their situation they will not enter heaven. Then because us we are Christians we think we are the one's who deserve this Grace of GOD because we are saved. -We often say we are saved but still struggle to repent because we don't have a heart to repent. But those who struggle with sins have a heart to repent because they desire to live perfect, they wish they could be like us but their flesh is trapped while their hearts are willing. -With saints our flesh may be free but our heart's are full of self righteousness. We think this Christianity makes us better than the others but GOD knows our hearts. -Even Peter said he will die for Jesus but jesus knew that peter will deny him three times. -Judas was always with Jesus,he shared the table with Jesus and even had the same meal as Jesus but he was one to betray him. -Let us humble ourselves before our LORD today and begin to have a cry for the lost one's because the Kingdom of GOD needs them. We then should understand the importance of a saved soul because it desires to live perfect. Let us not think just because we are saved we are better than those who live in sin because you don't know what GOD sees about your heart. Begin to see everyone equal and understand that GOD loves everyone equal. -Therefore this teaches us that we must be self righteous but be humble in the eyes of GOD because "Grace" means undeserving favour. Another meaning is that we don't deserve to be but we were justified by Jesus Christ. We must treat each other equally and not be judgemental or feel better than others. -Repent if you have to and seek the glory of GOD but do not despise your brothers and sisters who are in christ and those who are not Amen. Thank you we love you and GOD loves you best❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good morning Disciples of Jesus Christ i hope you're doing good Here is our today's Devotion THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT Matthew 22:34-40 -Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadduceees(Sadducees were mostly priests who followed the Old testament law. They did not obey rules added by the Pharisees. The Sadducees believe in any after life after death. Like the Pharisees, they were often in conflict with Jesus.), the Pharisees got together . One of them , an expert in the law , tested him with this question: "Teacher , which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" -Jesus replied: "Love the LORD your GOD with all your heartand with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." -These scriptures are very clear by themselves, thas is why you should stop hating on your brother that sins everyday and come to church, you should stop hating on your neighbour who hates you, or your prostitute sister who's coming to church. We should love one another because us Disciples we represent GOD and GOD is love. -This teaches us not to envy one another like the book of (Galatians 5:25-26) says we shall walk in spirit and therefore let us live in spirit amd do not envy one another. Keep a good heart, to the neighbour, brother, sister or anyone who wounds you love them back. -But one thing that should always stay in our hearts, mind and soul is, Love GOD with everything, meaning everything not just your mouth but with everything including your heart, soul, mind, finances, and substances but Love GOD for he is our dwelling place till eternity. -Even at church love everyone, don't be picky, choosy or have favoritism but Jesus says love your neighbour as you love yourself. Amen. Thank guys have a blessed weeked We love you and GOD loves you best❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Word of the day 📖 Today we’ll focus on the essence of time *Ecclesiastes 11:6* “Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.” In the above scripture we get to read about the importance of sowing seed. When it comes to our trade and what we do for a living, we tend to experience seasons. So this scripture relates to a farming metaphor on how to make wise decisions relating to investing. Just like a farmer can’t predict weather. It’s wise to sow in the morning and in the evening. God knows which one will be a success. The important part is to know that God is of excellence, in all endeavours we need to embody Jesus and be excellent in all our ways. So the key issue here is the scripture warns us that *“at evening let your hands not be idle”* the power of excellency is within you,God has given it to all of us therefore Solomon warns us to be great stewards of time, to not waste it but continuously sow at all available times. When it comes to being stewards over what God has given us, it’s importance to never focus on the physical. Just like work, maybe knocking off at 17:00 or even after school and past that - many of us think it’s “me time”. Farmers tend to work in daylight which makes it one of their greatest resources, Solomon advises the farmer to use it all, from sun rise to sun set. Invest your time in your trade, hobbies, in school, in corporate and not only focus on one stream. The bible tells us only God knows which will succeed or even both may succeed because we don’t know when disaster may hit like a farmer, they can’t predict or control the weather So God tells us the importance of capitalising in different ventures . Ecclesiastes 11:2 “Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.” We all have the same time frame in a day, week or month so today let us meditate on how we spend our time. Ephesians 5:15-16 “15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity (time) , because the days are evil.” Are you a great steward of time? Or do you spend majority of your time scrolling on social media? *Prayer*: “Dear Heavenly father, I thank you for your mercies and your grace. Thank you for a new day and thank you for life. God I pray that you may bless the works of my hands, may you also bless every opportunity & encounter ahead of me. God open my eyes to see opportunities and gaps in industries that may be need of my skill set, May I fill them. Teach me God on how to maximise the day and make me a great steward of time. In Jesus’s mighty name. Amen” Have a blessed day ahead

Good morning beautiful brothers and sisters Here is our today's Devotion THE FIG TREE WITHERS Matthew 21:18-22 -Now here today we focus on a scripture that teaches us about FAITH and BELIEVE -Early in the morning ,as he was on his way back to the city,he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road,he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it,"May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered. -Jesus doesn't cast this tree because he wanted to but it is because of its nature,we know that a fig tree looks green with its leaves, from a distance you can actually think the tree is fruitful but as you get closer to it you realise the tree is fruitless and it just looks green without bearing anything. -Now this teaches us that we then should not be like a fig tree as children of GOD,or we may not be Christians but in the eyes of GOD we are like a fig tree. Now get this,GOD expects us to be his children who bear fruits of the spirit and two of the signs that will show that we are really fruitful is by having FAITH and BELIEVE in him. -FAITH puts us in a position of trusting GOD without any doubts that he is our provider and we shall lean on him forever. -BELIEVE puts us in a position of knowing that GOD will give us whatever we ask for in prayer. -Now we cannot say we are children of GOD who doubt what GOD can do for us and we cannot doubt what we can also do with GODs authority. We cannot be saying we love Jesus or GOD whereas we do not believe in him and put our trust in him. -We must be Christians who are seen with fruits of the spirit. Not Christians who are prayerless,Sunday Christians and Occasional Christians, because in the eyes of GOD we are like a fig tree that bears no fruit and just imagine how God cursed the fig because of how it bears no fruit but looking like it does. -Jesus says "I tell you the truth ,if have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain,'Go throw yourself into into the sea ' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer" -This shows us the descenment we get from applying FAITH and the works that can be done by BELIEVE in prayer Amen. Thank you have a blessed day We love you and GOD loves you best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good morning brothers and sisters disciples of Jesus Christ Here is our today's Devotion SEVEN WOES Matthew(Full Chapter 23) Today's Devotion is a bit longer but if you love the word of GOD you will endure it. -What is the meaning of the word "woe" "Woe means great suffering, pain or sadness. -Now here in this chapter as a whole Jesus addresses the crowds and to his disciples: "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger and lift them. -"Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide(phylacteries are notes that remind you to keep the law of GOD) and the tassels on their garments long, they love the place of honour at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues, they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them 'Rabbi.'(Rabbi means teacher) -"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven, and he is in heaven. Nor are you called 'teacher', for you have one Teacher, Jesus Christ. The greatest among you will be servant. For whoever exalts(exalts means praise) himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. READ ALL THE SEVEN WOES FROM (Matthew 23:13-29) -Jesus declares these sufferings because of how the teachers of the law have twisted GODs word and how they were preaching what they do not practice. You have to be awakened that sometimes those who teach the law they put heavy loads on believers shoulders. They say things that make believers to see it impossible to live for Jesus Christ, things that seem hard to do as children of GOD and they extend it in a way that it feels heavy for some believers to be Christian. -But Jesus says we must obey the law that they teach but we should not do what they do, meaning we should what GOD wants us to do which is fulfilling God's will. -We should not do our will but do what GOD says about our lives. -Don't imitate the actions of what others claim in action But God's will is what we declare over our lives. -Children of GOD do the will of GOD, not men's will. -Do not preach what you dont practice -Do not seek high seats in the house of GOD but seek his glory and be a servant -Do not seek to given titles, always be humble God lifts up those who are humble. -Do not put heavy burdens on others but carry tge burden of Jesus Christ. -Do not seek praises of men -Do not do your will but always do what GOD says in his commandments and what GOD says about your life. -Take the words of the LORD not the words of men because the instruction comes from the LORD not what men says. Amen. -THESE WOES ARE TO AWAKEN US ON BECAUSE IN THIS CHAPTER THE TONE AND THE CLIMAX IS VERY INSTRUCTIVE WITH EXCLAMATION MARKS. STAY AWAKENED , THE HOLLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE US IN JESUS NAME. Thank you for reading God's word have a blessed day ahead We love you and GOD loves you best ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Good morning Disciples of Jesus Christ Here is our today's Devotion THE THRUIMPHAL ENTRY Matthew 21:1-11 -This Scripture is a prophetic symbol or gesture when Jesus was still on earth, that when he was still on earth,he was here to bring peace to the people but many were convicted while others were cheerful for our King. -Jesus sent two Disciples saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you , and at once you find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her.Untie them and bring them to me.If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the LORD needs them, and he will send them right away" -Now this scripture teaches us that as Disciples of Jesus , we are sent to places that have bondage over peace ,places or people who need peace to be released from the bondage of not having peace and give them to Jesus. -A donkey is an animal that symbolises peace and a colt its a male donkey that is always by the mother's side, Just like the desciples whom were sent to untie them and bring them to Jesus, this shows how important for us as desciples to go to people and places that are in need of peace and free them from the unpeaceful state of bondage by bringing them to Jesus. We should then allow Jesus to use the people for his peace and our peace, let his people be freed from unpeaceful places, unpeaceful bondages so Jesus can set them free. -When people try to question the peace you are sent to bring, tell the person The LORD wants and demand peace and he wants to free his people to they get peace from him. -As Jesus received the colt and the donkey he rode on them, meaning jesus needs to use these people who need peace for the glory of God and to fulfil the promise that has been prophesied. -We are people of peace and we need more peace as much as Jesus is about peace, like when he silenced the storms Jesus said "peace be still and the storms were silenced" -Our God will return soon his kingdom will come but we are to keep peace until he returns for us and his will be done Amen. Thank you beloveds We love you and God loves you best have a blessed weekend.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Goodday brothers and sisters Here is today's Devotion JESUS AT THE TEMPLE Matthew 21:12-17 -Here we get to understand the emotion and the act of Jesus when he entered the temple area. Firstly he drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. -Although Jesus portrayed an act of being angry this he did because he said it is written "My house will be called a house of prayer but you are making it a den of robbers" -The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the son of David" they were indignant.(Indignant means they were anguished or annoyed by what Jesus did because what he did, it was freely and from a heart of doing GODs will) -This Scripture teaches us how GOD feels when he turn the house of praise into a market. With everything that we have it is given by GOD -Including talents,Skills, Abilities and Finance going abroad, everything comes from him. So we cannot be expected to make money out of things that were given by GOD,if we benefit let it be from a gratitude of giving.(meaning it's a bonus if we do but we do nit make profit in the house of the LORD) -We do not to expect the church to pay us in return of what we do in the house of the LORD(GOD has a way of blessing us for doing good) -We grieve the heart of the LORD by making money from the gifts of the LORD. Because GOD expects us to worship him with these gifts and blessings that we have giving him praises for these he gave us willingly and we ought to be responsible on how to use our gifts and blessings willingly. -Sometimes GOD will test you on the things you expect to benefit from if ever are you doing this willingly or you are just one of the culprits who turn the house of the LORD into a 'den of robbers' Amen Thank you we love you and GOD loves you best As the week is over ask yourselves these questions What does it mean to have childlike faith? What does humility look like in your life? How is God’s Kingdom different from our current culture?

Good morning Disciples of Jesus Christ, here is our today's Devotion THE PARABLE OF THE TENANTS Matthew 21:33-46 -In these scriptures Jesus speaks to the Pharisees and the chief priests. Those who use the law to judge, those who see themselves righteous than the others. Those who think they know GODs law and they abide in it. -But Jesus here speaks prophetic like GOD was speaking through him at the same time. -This parable speaks the same as Genesis, GOD created the world with everything that was beautiful he assigned humans to look after his creation. When GOD came to check on how his creation was. He found out that men had sinned against him men had fallen short of his glory. -We were already disconnected from GOD from the sin that happened in the garden of eden, our relationship with GOD was broken and he was heart broken but GOD loves us. He gave us a chance but still men rebelled against GOD nothing seemed to have washed our sins from doing sacrifices, with burnt offerings where innocent blood had to spilled in order to reconcile with GOD. -But GOD loved the world that he gave out his only son Jesus Christ to come and fix our broken relationship with HIM that when Jesus comes we must all receive him as our LORD and SAVIOUR and believe that he died for our sins to bring back our Relationship with GOD through him. The blood of Jesus was spilled for our sins and the holly spirit connects us with him. -But still people at this age of time still mock Jesus Christ, some still believe in ancestors which is idolatry, believing in all types of religion, some still enjoy living in the life of sin, some still lean on their understanding, some still mock Jesus by Crusifying him on the cross but yet we say we love Jesus and some we are Christians who do these things, the very same people whom GOD put trust into taking care of his word. -The finished work of the cross is so great that no one else could have done what Jesus did for us. Instead when Jesus speaks to the Pharisees and the chief priests, he takes them back to the word verse 42. "Have you not read in the scriptures: "'The stone the builders rejected has became a capstone , the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. "Therefore i tell you that the Kingdom of GOD will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. He who falls on this stone will broken to pieces, but he on whon it falls will be crushed" (The Lord here spoke in a parable to rebuke those who are judgemental, self righteous and those who are full of themselves) -As i read i remember the words of the LORD saying "upon this rock i will build my temple" I pray that when the LORD returns may he not find you in the wrong place with a wrong posture. Let us return to the LORD with wheeping and fasting, giving ourselves fully and rely on him only because he loves us and because he reconsiled for us to connect with GOD again. Amen Ask yourself one question what will you do if GOD was to return in this immediate effect of time. Are you standing right with him and or are you standing in a position of earthly reliance? Thank you guys We love you and GOD loves you best❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
