Good day Disciples of Jesus Christ i hope you're doing good today Here is our today's Devotion THE DAY AND HOUR UNKNOWN Matthew 24:36-51 -Today we are to learn how to be watchmen starting from today because in these scriptures Jesus Christ tells us to keep watching because we do not know the day and the hour of when he is coming back. -"No one knows about that day or hour,not even the angels in heaven,nor the son,but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood,people were eating and drinking,marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. This is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. -Jesus tells us that Two men will be in the field ;one will be taken and the other left. Two woman will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. -Jesus then tells us to keep watch, because we do not know on what day the LORD will come. -These scriptures are teaching us that we shouldn't think we still have time in this world to enjoy. This tells us that we are here to worship and serve our LORD. The LORD may return in a day,a week ,a month or even a year or two. So we must always be right with the LORD that when he finds comes back we are in the right position. -Do not buy yourself time thinking that i will enjoy life now and get right with GOD later because that is a dangerous posture for your heart, it simply shows that you'll get right with GOD because signs are showing that it is near. -But Jesus tell us that we must be always be ready for his coming because he will return at an hour when you do not expect him. Be a watchman of his temple your body and your heart. Start living right not by behaviour but by faith we shall be righteous.
