Good morning 🙏🏽 Today’s focal point is Gratitude and thanksgiving 🥹📖
*Psalm 111:3-Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.*
When reading psalm 111, it’s a psalms on thanksgiving. In our walk with Christ and meditating in his word, we should never be overly obsessed with rebuking spirits and praying against our enemies because in knowing that God fights our battles comes with the understanding that God takes care of *Everything* even the other things that we don’t even mention, limiting our prayers to just that, causes a major distraction blinds us from pondering on the works of God, praying for Gods children and all the other things God wants us to be attentive to. As the day begins it’s important to exalt God and remind ourselves of who he is, He is Holy, High and lifted up (psalms 111:1 this scripture shows the attitude we should have concerning the matters of God) it’s important that we testify about the goodness of the Lord and even when we receive what he has promised us, let’s refrain from focusing on the next thing and begin to pray for what we expect next from God or complaining without taking the time to *PONDER* on the works of the Lord, without sitting and expressing gratitude to the Lord, let’s refrain always fasting to demand but to also fast for thankfulness and gratitude. Let’s begin to thank God & praise the Lord for His righteousness, His wondrous works, His faithfulness to His covenant, His trustworthiness, and His redemption. Even when things aren’t going so great, we thank God for that adversity, we thank God that he’s building our character. The psalmist vows to thank the Lord with his whole heart, celebrating God's amazing works. Everything the Lord says is worthy of trust. True wisdom begins with acknowledging the Lord as God.
Have a blessed day ahead, amen🙏🏽
