🚨Supreme Court of India recently rejected the PIL (Public Interest Litigation) asking for regulation of internet prices in India.
The petitioner argued that Jio has 80% of the market share, and customers have very few options to choose from.
*To this, the SC said that India remains a free market, as there is still BSNL and MTNL which offer internet along with other players.*
SC said that this matter needs to be taken up with the competition commission of India (CCI) if the issue is that Jio has 80% of the market share.
