It means believing that God's Word is authoritative and sufficient for all of life's challenges and decisions. When we trust in God's Word, we can have confidence that it will guide us, comfort us, and transform us. _Additional Scripture_ - Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." _Prayer_ Dear Lord, help me to trust in Your Word. Give me the faith to believe that Your Word is true, reliable, and life-giving.
