*2025, Behold, I do a new thing.....* *The foundation of trust in God's words and Character* *Trusting in God's Word* _Scripture_ Psalm 119:42, "For I trust in your word." _Reflection_ Trusting in God's Word means recognizing that it is true, reliable, and life-giving. It means believing that God's Word is authoritative and sufficient for all of life's challenges and decisions. When we trust in God's Word, we can have confidence that it will guide us, comfort us, and transform us. _Additional Scripture_ - Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." _Prayer_ Dear Lord, help me to trust in Your Word. Give me the faith to believe that Your Word is true, reliable, and life-giving. Help me to hide Your Word in my heart and to apply it to my life. _Action Step_ Take a few minutes to reflect on how you can trust in God's Word more deeply. Write down specific ways you can: - Read and meditate on God's Word regularly - Apply God's Word to your life and decisions - Share God's Word with others and encourage them to trust in it - Memorize and hide God's Word in your heart _Questions for Reflection_ - What are some ways I can deepen my trust in God's Word? - How can I apply God's Word to my life and decisions? - What are some biblical examples of the power and authority of God's Word that can encourage me to trust in it? *Destiny Discipleship Ministries* _Maximizing God's Given Potential_
