*2025, Behold, I do a new thing....* *When you can't see the way* *Trusting God's Sovereignty* Scripture Isaiah 43:19, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Reflection When we can't see the way, it's easy to doubt God's sovereignty. We may wonder if God is really in control, or if He's abandoned us. But God reminds us that He is always working, always creating, and always guiding us. Trusting God's sovereignty means trusting that He is in control of all things, and that His plans are always good. It means trusting that He is working everything out for our good, even when we can't see the way. Additional Scripture - Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Psalm 37:3-5, "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this." Prayer Dear Lord, help me to trust Your sovereignty in my life. Give me faith to believe that You are always working, always creating, and always guiding me. Help me to trust that Your plans are always good, and that You are working everything out for my good. Action Step Take a few minutes to reflect on your current circumstances. Are there any areas where you're struggling to trust God's sovereignty? Write down your concerns and fears, and then ask God to help you trust in His sovereignty and provision.
