The fruit of the spirit we have as followers of Jesus Christ is not even for us, we make the mistake of thinking that way. It ain't actually for us to just possess it's what marks you off as a disciple, a follower. The fruit is there for others to *eat* of. The patience, the love, the kindness, the joy, the peace is for people to eat of you not just for you to possess in such a way that you know when you suddenly notice how you've been patient in a situation you normally wouldn't be, you then begin to pat yourself on the back. It's to bless others. It's there to point people to Jesus. To show you as a follower.
