Statement by Islamic Scholarly Organizations and Associations Regarding the USA President's Remarks on the Displacement of the People of Gaza In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful All praise is due to Allah, the One who grants honor to the believers and supports them, and who humiliates and subdues the arrogant oppressors. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the bearer of the glad tidings of a clear victory, and upon his family and all his companions. Allah Almighty states in His Noble Book: "They do not observe toward a believer any pact or honor, and it is they who are the transgressors." (Surah At-Tawbah: 10) In light of this divine guidance, we have taken note the statements made by “Trump” regarding the forced displacement of the steadfast people of Gaza and their expulsion from their homeland. These statements starkly reveal the deep-seated enmity and hatred towards Muslims, exposing an open alignment with an occupying force that refuses to uphold even recently signed agreements. This blatant betrayal is evident in their swift violation of the prisoner exchange deal and the withdrawal of the occupation army from Gaza. We, the Islamic scholarly organizations and associations, strongly reject these treacherous and immoral decisions that disregard all ethical values and the fundamental requirements of honoring treaties and agreements between nations, including the ceasefire agreement regarding the criminal war on Gaza. These actions constitute a clear and blatant violation of international law, which they claim to uphold as just and binding, despite the well-known fact that such laws were originally designed to serve the interests of major powers and dominant forces. Based on the above, we affirm the following: First: The USA threat to forcibly displace the people of Gaza falls within its ongoing hostile policies aimed at antagonizing all Muslims. Allah Almighty states: "Allah only forbids you from befriending those who fight you because of your faith, expel you from your homes, and support others in doing so. And whoever takes them as allies, then it is they who are the wrongdoers." (Surah Al-Mumtahina: 9) Allah has prohibited Muslims from offering allegiance or support to those who fight against them, expel them from their lands, or aid others in doing so. Those who seek to befriend such aggressors are transgressors who have abandoned the bounds set by Allah. Second: The statements made by the USA President “Trump” demonstrate blatant disregard for the rights of the Palestinian people and the sentiments of more than 1.5 billion Muslims in the Arab and Islamic world and beyond. These barbaric declarations align with the crimes of genocide committed by the occupying entity and constitute another crime that falls under crimes against justice and human rights, as stipulated in Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Third: These reckless statements from the USA President “Trump” confirm to all Muslims that their rights can only be restored by their own hands through their unity under the banner of Islam. Relying on international agreements, laws, and conventions is futile, as these instruments have lost all credibility due to the blatant disregard of their own creators. Fourth: We call upon Arab nations to take a firm and decisive stance. We denounce the weak responses of some Arab and Islamic countries that have failed to take a firm position against the unchecked arrogance and recklessness of the USA administration. We stress the necessity for all Arab and Islamic nations to clearly declare their rejection of this outrageous crime and to refuse any participation in it. These nations must use all available means of pressure, including economic measures, to prevent the USA from proceeding with this heinous act. Fifth: We urge Muslims everywhere to express their rejection, outrage, and defiance against this looming crime that “Trump” and his team are threatening to commit. We call upon all Muslim nations and organizations to mobilize and showcase their unity in rejecting these statements—from Nouakchott in the west to Jakarta in the east. The world must be made aware of the gravity of this anticipated crime, being planned by the “Trump” administration and Zionist factions that seek to exploit his recklessness to further entrench the presence of the terrorist occupation state. Sixth: We call upon scholars across the Islamic world to educate Muslims and remove the veil of ignorance regarding the true nature of so-called Western democracies, which are increasingly proving themselves unworthy of being a global ethical model. The world is in dire need of the values, justice, mercy, and civilization of Islam. Islamic scholars must fulfill their duty to bear witness to the truth and guide humanity toward justice. Seventh: We urge the resistance in Gaza to remain vigilant against the enemy’s potential betrayal of the agreement after the last batch of prisoners is released and the possibility of implementing partial or full displacement. Decision-makers must carefully reconsider all ongoing matters, as multiple indicators suggest that a renewed aggression is not entirely unlikely. We emphasize this as sincere advice, while acknowledging the competence and expertise of Gaza’s leadership in countering enemy treacheries. Eighth: We call upon the people of Gaza, all Palestinians, and Muslims worldwide to confront these threats, dangers, and acts of arrogance with unwavering faith, continuous sacrifice, and the complete abandonment of weakness in all its forms. This can only be achieved by holding firmly to the rope of Allah and steadfastly adhering to their principles, following the example of the best of this Ummah: "Those to whom people said, 'Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.' But it only increased them in faith, and they said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.' So they returned with favor from Allah and bounty, no harm having touched them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is the Possessor of great bounty. That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are indeed believers." (Surah Aal-e-Imran: 173-175) We implore Allah, the Almighty, to grant victory to the people of Gaza and to all Muslims, to safeguard their lives and wealth, and to protect them from the schemes and aggression of their enemies. And Allah is the Greatest, and all praise is due to Him.
