Shaykh Nūr al-Dīn ‘Itr [al-Ḥanafī] states: ‎”There is no praiseworthy or blissful life for the heart except through love for Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ. True living is only for those whose eyes find delight in their Beloved, whose souls find peace with him whose hearts are reassured by him, who find comfort in his closeness, and who experience joy through his love.”
