People have become accustomed to the gospel that excites them, the motivational gospel that makes them feel good — the "receive your miracle," "your time is now," and all kinds of prosperity gospels. They feel uncomfortable with the true gospel that addresses their sins, the gospel of the kingdom, and the gospel of repentance. Many do not want to hear what God hates or how they are living in sin and how their lives are in direct rebellion to God. As long as they are motivated and get a spiritual high every Sunday, they are satisfied. Well this kind of gospel will not change your life. It may entertain you while you continue to live in sin, and you will die in sin. At your funeral, your pastor will come and lie, thay you are now with the Father, even though you were living in sin. This dishonesty only encourages others to continue sinning. We don’t tell lies here: if you sow sin your entire life, you will reap death in the end. There’s no other way.
