*HEART ATTACK: WHEN THE HEART IS BEGGING TO BE FEE WITH BLOOD*
A heart attack occurs when blood flow to your heart is either partially blocked or completely blocked.
This blockage is usually by a clot in one of the arteries.
What does this mean for your body?
No blood flow to the heart = No oxygen suppy as well = Dying of Heart muscle.
The medical term for a heart attack is Myocardial Infarction or MI for short.
*WHAT HAPPENS DURING A HEART ATTACK?*
-It means that one or more coronary arteries become blocked.
-Your heart begins to struggle to pump blood.
-If it is not treated urgently, your heart tissue dies, leading to permanent damage and other complications.
*WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF HEART ATTACK?*
Contrary to cardiac arrest, heart attack symptoms can show up slowly and build up over minutes to hours;
-You may experience chest pain or discomfort that may spread to your arms, shoulders, neck, jaw, or back.
-Shortness of breath even when you're resting may occur.
