On Sunday, February 16, 2025, the Regina Caeli Catholic Chaplaincy, Federal University Lokoja organized a Thanksgiving Mass in honour of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, to commemorate his 4th year in office as well as to mark his recent birthday anniversary. Accompanied by his beautiful wife, the Vice-Chancellor, who was adorned with a traditional attire (agbada) by the Catholic Church, expressed profound appreciation for the honour.
