In a notable boost for the arts in the Great Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr Tempter Paul Tungwarara, Special Presidential Investment Adviser to the UAE and owner of Prevail International, has presented two off-road terrain vehicles to Zimbabwean comedian David Mubaiwa, popularly known as Sabhuku Vharazipi, and his theatre crew. This gesture reveals the commitment to supporting local talent and promoting cultural initiatives in the Great Republic of Zimbabwe by HE President Dr ED Mnangagwa and the Second Republic—leaving no one and no place behind.
The Ziya Cultural Arts group, led by Vharazipi and Wellington Chairman Chindara, has been instrumental in reshaping the mindset of young Zimbabweans through their impactful performances. Their satirical works address essential themes, including the National Vision 2030 Development Agenda. Beyond the arts, they have also contributed to social causes, particularly in promoting access to clean drinking water in underserved communities. Through Dr Tungwarara's partnership with the Government, the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme aims to alleviate water scarcity, ensuring that clean water becomes accessible to all.
Dr Tungwarara has a long history of driving National progress by attracting international investments. His collaborations with prominent investors, including Mahomed Alabbar of Burj Khalifa fame, have brought attention to the Grear Republic of Zimbabwe’s potential. His initiatives include the Presidential Solar Scheme, which installs solar panels for free, enhancing energy access and contributing to the National grid.
Dr Tungwarara is committed to enhancing education across the country. He actively supports infrastructure projects not only at Gandanzara Primary School but throughout the entire educational sector, highlighting the importance of education in sustainable development. His efforts align with the Vision of local Leaders, such as Hon Albert Nyakuedzwa, the Member of Parliament for Makoni South, where Dr Tungwarara has done much for the community in terms of support critical infrastructure projects and of course championing the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme beyond Makoni South Constituency. Hon Nyakuedzwa serves as the Provincial Commissar for the Ruling ZANU PF Party in Manicaland and is a strong advocate for the Vision 2030 development goals in his Constituency and the Province at large.
As Sabhuku Vharazipi and his crew receive this generous support, the future looks brighter for the arts in the Great Republic of Zimbabwe. Their work continues to inspire change and foster a sense of community, proving that the path to stardom can lead to meaningful contributions to society.
