Project Update We’re now reaching the end of phase one of the works. The next phase will see traffic moving onto the new lanes which have been built. This will reduce the need for temporary traffic lights while we start to build the junction to the new road. Upcoming Impact On Monday 3rd March we will be surfacing new the news lanes which have been built on Common Edge Road. These works are expected to take 3 days, these lanes will be surfaced throughout the day and we do not expect to impact any traffic or property access. Hole testing will take place on Common Edge Road on Tuesday 4th March, during the hours of 10am - 3pm. This will involve two-way traffic lights which move down the road throughout the day. On Thursday 6th March we will be surfacing the area where the new lanes meet the current Common Edge Road. This work will start at 5pm and completed by midnight. access to properties will be via the northern end of the service road, and there will be two-way temporary traffic lights on Common Edge Road that evening.
