Stephen Dadedzi_ _Day 55 (24/Feb/2025)_ > ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Luke 18:1 NKJV Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. Prayer is a spiritual force that moves mountains and opens closed doors. The late Dr. David Yonggi Cho, founder of the world’s largest church, once shared a testimony of a woman in his church who prayed fervently for her husband’s salvation. He was a violent man who despised Christianity, but she never stopped praying. For years, she pushed in prayer, crying out to God daily. One day, after an accident left him bedridden, he had a divine encounter with Jesus. He repented, accepted Christ, and became a transformed man. Her persistent prayers broke the resistance in the spirit realm and brought salvation to her household. *1. Pushing in prayer shows your unwavering faith in God's promises:* Faith is the fuel that keeps you pressing in prayer despite delays. When you continue praying, even when circumstances seem unchanging, you demonstrate that you trust God's Word over your situation (Hebrews 10:23). *2. When you push in prayer, you compel answers that seem delayed:* The persistent widow in Luke 18:1–8 kept knocking until the unjust judge answered her request. How much more will our righteous Father respond when we push in prayer? Delays do not mean denial—your breakthrough is closer than you think (Daniel 10:12-13). *3. Pushing in prayer activates divine intervention:* Many battles are won in the place of prayer before they manifest in the physical. When Peter was imprisoned, the Church prayed constantly, and an angel was sent to rescue him (Acts 12:5-7). Your prayers can provoke angelic assistance and supernatural breakthroughs. _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, grant me the strength to push in prayer until I see the manifestation of Your promises.
