The EuFMD, in partnership with the World Reference Laboratory for FMD publishes a quarterly report on the foot-and mouth disease situation, based on a number of information sources. In the last quarter of 2024, the WRLFMD reported vaccine-matching data for samples received from Indonesia and for South American field isolates received from PANAFTOSA, Brazil. New VP1 sequences were received from Iran (from GenBank), Palestinian AT (Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary Services and Animal Health) and Türkiye (Şap Enstitüsü, Türkiye).
