Our plan aims to uphold the highest standards of emergency medical care while establishing an Emergency Medical Care (EMC) system aligned with the WHO Emergency Care System Framework. With this plan in place Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation (EMKF)will help us develop our casualty department at Embu L5 Some of the highlights of the draft include: ✅Establishing a dedicated emergency care access number for the county. ✅Developing an emergency operations and ambulance dispatch center. ✅Mapping and strengthening emergency departments across the county. I wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the EMKF for their continued support in this journey. The County Government of Embu will take the lead in operationalizing this plan, setting up the necessary structures to address gaps in regulation, standards, and norms in emergency medical care.
